Cita previa NIE Guadalajara: booking your appointment
You book it for free on the administration’s official website: choose Guadalajara as the province, then the procedure that goes with your form, then a day. A cita previa is an appointment booked in advance, and the police and the Oficina de Extranjería (the state office for foreigners’ permits) in Guadalajara see foreigners only with one.
Screen by screen
- Open the official website, sede.administracionespublicas.gob.es
- Select Guadalajara in the list of provinces
- Pick the trámite (procedure) for your form
- Read the information page, then go on
- Type your passport or NIE number, your full name as in the passport, and your nationality
- Take one of the offices, days and times on offer
- Confirm, and save the confirmation with its code
One form, one procedure
The procedures carry Spanish names, and those names are sometimes updated, so take your time with the list. A NIE alone goes with form EX-15. The green certificate for EU citizens goes with form EX-18. Fingerprints for a residence card go with form EX-17, or form EX-19 for the family of an EU citizen.
With the wrong procedure, the office may not be able to deal with you that day, and you must book again. When you are not sure, ask us before you confirm.
What the confirmation says
On the confirmation you find the office with its address, the day and the hour, the procedure you picked and a code. Read the office line first. In Guadalajara, the police unit is on Avenida del Ejército and the Oficina de Extranjería is on Avenida Francia, and they do different work.
policia.es gives no opening hours for the Brigada, so your hour is the one on the confirmation. Come a little early, with the confirmation printed or saved on your phone.
If the calendar is empty
New appointments appear from time to time, and they can be taken quickly. Look at different hours and on different days. Keep your folder complete, so you can accept a free day at once. We watch for a slot with you and check your papers in the meantime.
Questions
Do I pay to book?
No. The official booking website is free. The 790-012 fee is something else: it pays for the procedure, not for the appointment.
I live in El Casar. Which province do I choose?
Guadalajara. The booking works by province, so every town of the province books in the same place.
Can I cancel if I cannot come?
Yes. The booking website lets you cancel with your code, and the slot goes to someone else. Then book a new day.
What is the phone number of the Brigada?
policia.es gives 949 248 416. Appointments themselves are taken on the booking website.
