Our work
NIE Guadalajara is an independent private service. It helps foreigners in Guadalajara and the towns of the Henares corridor with the NIE, the TIE card, the EU green certificate and the padrón, in simple English.
Guadalajara draws people for many reasons: a job in a warehouse or a factory of the corridor, a larger home than Madrid can offer, relatives who already live here, a course, a house to buy. Whatever the reason, the papers come quickly: a number for the employer, a certificate or a card, an address on the padrón.
Our work is to prepare those steps with you: choosing the right form, filling it in, paying the 790-012 fee, finding a cita previa and putting the folder in order. Some questions belong to other professionals: tax, labour law, the legal state of a property. If yours is one of them, we say so and point you to the right kind of adviser.
NIE Guadalajara has no link with the Ayuntamiento de Guadalajara, the Policía Nacional, or the Delegación del Gobierno and its Oficina de Extranjería. Our pages are not official texts. You are free to do every procedure described here yourself, straight with the administration, and then you pay its fees and nothing more.
What we do for you
- We start from your papers. An EU passport, a work visa and a family link lead to different forms and different offices. We look at yours first, so you read only the steps that are really yours.
- Short sentences, Spanish explained. Many of our readers speak English as a second language. We keep the words simple, and we explain each Spanish term the first time it appears.
- Gaps found at home, not at the desk. Every paper is compared with the procedure before you leave home. A gap found at your kitchen table is easy to close; a gap found at the desk can mean a new booking.
- Clear about our role. This is a private service, separate from every public office. We prepare the procedure with you; the police and the Oficina de Extranjería take the decisions.
No office of the State
NIE Guadalajara is run privately and on its own. No public body runs it or approves it: not the Policía Nacional, not the Delegación del Gobierno en Castilla-La Mancha and its Oficina de Extranjería, not the Ayuntamiento de Guadalajara. We have no power over their decisions and cannot make them faster. Our pages give general information; they are not legal advice, and you can always deal with the administration yourself, paying its official fees alone.
